About Sue
The Blue Whale is my spirit animal.
The whale is representative of emotion, inner truth, and creativity. They are considered a wisdom holder and keeper of history. They offer physical and emotional healing. Whales are associated with intuition, importance of family and community, emotional rebirth, peaceful strength and communication. As a young girl I was drawn to whales as a source of healing.
I truly love watching others grow, finding their truth, and becoming who they are truly meant to be. To see another human blossom is amazing and inspiring.
I believe in order to create the best you that you can be requires a deep level of introspection, focus, footwork and slow, methodical, steady change – one thing at a time. For more than 32 years I have loved working with other women to come into lifelong sustainable change, one day at a time, in a safe and non-judgmental environment.
Growing up in Southern California and coming into adulthood in the 80’s, not feeling comfortable in my own skin lead into a life of abusing drugs and alcohol and resulting bad behavior and bad decisions. In 1992 (January 2nd to be exact) I began my journey into leaving my old life behind to experience a deep dive into who I am. This is when my spiritual journey began.
I began my yoga journey more than 10 years ago. I also started belly dancing (you really should try it), which connected me at the core with how special I am as a woman. It wasn’t until I entered yoga teacher training did I know the power of transformation not only physically, but more importantly emotionally and spiritually.
Through life’s experiences, I realized how to laugh at myself, and feel the fear and do it anyway. I became unafraid to look at the ugly disgusting parts of myself and learn to love them and learn from them, and how healing "ugly crying" can be. I am human. YOU are human.

I became a certified Usui Reiki Master after studying reiki and healing energy for many years.
